In January - April of 2008, income of software industry reached 226.630 billion Yuan, up by 31.9% year on year. Number of large enterprises rose to 13077, 985 more than the same period last year. Employee number exceeded 1,300,000.
Second, software technological service software increased prominently.
In January - April of 2008, software technological service income grew the fastest and reached 35.24 billion Yuan, up by 48.8%. Software outsourcing service income reached 3.7 billion Yuan, up by 137.9%.
Third, software industry in east area grows the fastest.
In January - April of 2008, software industry income in the eastern area reached 204 billion Yuan, up by 32.3%, and accounted for 90% of the total income across the country.
Fourth, export grew fast, and the embedded software export was still dominant.
In January - April of 2008, the software export reached 3.27 billion dollars, increasing by 54.9% compared with the same period of last year. The embedded software export was near 1.7 billion dollars, accounting for 24.5% of total software export and up by 45.3%. Software outsourcing export exceeded 270 million dollars, up by 71.3%.
